Assuming the thumb safety is in good operating condition, and stays on when you put it on?
The very stiffly sprung grip safety precludes the trigger being pulled unless you have the gun in a chicken-choking grip and pull it.
Just be aware the design is nearly 100 years old, and doesn't include modern firing pin lock drop safeties and such.
So, you should probably make a habit of not dropping it.
The 1910/1922 are striker fired weapons from 90+ years ago.
I personally carry my 1922 chamber empty but that's me.
Mine is a pleasure shooting pistol, not a defense gun.
It should be safe enough, as long as the parts aren't worn out. It's got a grip safety, a magazine safety, and a manual safety, which all have to be off for the sear to rotate and release the striker.
