It never ceases to amaze me why gun manufacturers continue their insane quest for ever lighter rifles. That is probably more responsible for the 6.5 creedmores popularity than any qualities the cartridge possesses.I dissembled it, cleaned the bolt and stuff. Works better now. My guess is it just wasn't cleaned for so long. Plus for such a LIGHT rifle (in comparison to the big cartridge) the recoil is a beast and can wreck havoc on the parts.
Part of why I want to replace the synthetic stock is so I can reduce some of the recoil. I don't think a high powered rifle has a place being this light.
