Browning A5 Rings

I have a Belgium A5 that I bought a while back and since I have no manual for it I was wondering how the rings on the magazine tube should be set up? Right now it has the large brass ring on top of the spring and the smaller silver ring below the spring. I don't think the silver ring should be below the spring because what purpose would it serve down there.

How should it be set up for shooting 1 1/8 oz loads? Any advise or pics would be very helpful.

Thanks for the link, that is exactly what I was looking for. I'll try the A5 with the rings set up for the heavy loads and if things go good that's the way I'll leave it.

When I bought a used A5 long time ago I got a copy of the owners mannual from the browning website and it contained info on the rings too.

One of my A5s (the mag 20, I think) has a factory diagram glued inside the forestock. I thought it was such a useful idea that I duplicated it and put it in my others.
I can never seem to remember the proper setup for the darn things. I leave them setup for heavy or mag loads and only change if it fails to cycle properly.

There's a factory diagram inside the forestock of my A5 12 ga. A gunsmith is rebuilding a 16 ga A5 for me now and I'm going to place a copy of the diagram in it's forestock also..........why? Because I can't even remember what I had for breakfast.

My thanks to everyone also. I had the same question about the A5 rings. Earlier this week I clicked on the link Matt-man provided and an owners manual from Browning arrived today. It explains the rings real well.
