What does the prefix "71X" identify on an A5, followed by five numbers? I have looked at Brownings ID chart and am not finding anything that makes sense to me. Can someone help me out? Thank you.
71 means it was made in 1971. X means it is either a 20 ga 2 3/4" *standard weight, or a 20 ga 3" Magnum. (* = not a Light-20, which would be a 71Z) rc
