I'm new here, so i hope this is the right spot to ask questions. I have a browning auto 5 and was having problems with my carrier spring. I ordered a new one, turns out it is the new style that sits against the trigger plate. The old one sat on both rivets in the receiver. Will it work fine or should i look for a used old style carrier spring?
