Any reason I wouldn't want to buy a new production Browning BAR Safari with BOSS?

I would likely get the 7mm Rem Mag, but am considering the 300 and 338 Win Mags too.

Anyhow any gremlins? Recent shortcuts in production or cost cutting measures in materials and/or design?

Anything better than the Browning integrated aluminun rings / bases for secure scope mounting?

I want it to comfortably beat MOA with premium ammo and very good optics, after dialing in the BOSS. Realistic?

Does the magazine drop free of the gun, or is it captive on a hinged floor plate?

Is the trigger guard steel?

Yes. The BOSS is as ugly as home-made soap. Otherwise a fine rifle from what I've seen. There were a few made in the late 90's-early 00's that had loose forearms. Other than that, never heard a gripe.
