I have been carrying mine OWB in a Don Hume JIT minimalist leather belt slide holster -- I like it a lot.

I tried switching this evening to an IWB appendix carry -- it's not comfortable sitting down, and I don't like a cocked hammer pointing at my femoral artery or reproductive organs.

Any other options or suggestions out there?

Hah! I know. I have the blued version. I just showed it to a friend Thanksgiving eve at the range and he loved it -- and he was shooting a $1,000 HK!

Same place I carry my 1911's or Glocks.

2-2:30 IWB. Gets the gun along my hip in the right way to conceal well and in comfort.

I use either a Milt Sparks Summer Special II or a Galco V-Hawk depending on how I feel.

I had a holster that mimicked a Crossbreed Supertuck, that my boss had made for me (not for or because of work, hes just a cool guy) but the kydex belt clips arent worth a....hoot.
It got a habit of being drawn with the sidearm! Not good. So until i get that rectified...

Im back to my old IWB galco STO266, sitting at about 3:15 normally. Its not a positive retention per se, but even at a full run and tumble, it doesnt move.

I used to carry mine in either a Don Hume 715M IWB or the tuckable IWB I made, both of them actually intended for an M1911.

I sold my Norinco M1911, and with it all of my M1911 sized concealment holsters. Hence I don't currently have a holster for my Hi Power. I'll eventually make another.

when I wear ...around town..its my Browning in a Bianchi Cyclone 111.....when on the road its my S&W 686....in a Cyclone 111.....the BHP still is with me....in a bob...

When I carry mine (rare), I carry it cocked and locked in a Wild Bill's Concealment paddle holster.

If you have an older Hi-Power as mine is, you can take the guts (plunger and spring) from one of the newer safety levers and put them in your older safety lever. The plunger is more pointed and provides for a more definitive feel when clicking the safety on or off. That gave me the confidence to carry cocked and locked. The original safety was too mushy feeling for my taste.

Not a BHP, but I use the same concepts for a Glock 19 or a Glock 26. AIWB goes ~12:30. The Crown Jewel holster in the picture is built for a Glock 19 but holds the subcompact as pictured, with the extra holster length providing stability to keep the butt of the pistol close to the body for better concealment. To avoid problems with anatomical discomfort, it is built to ride high, and the soft loops leave enough flexibility to allow minor movement for sitting.

I'm like Wishoot; I carry my Hi-Power in a range bag. Have always had something smaller and more concealable in a 9mm. than my Hi-Power to have added it to my CCW rotation. If I were going to carry it I would probably get a DeSantis Mini Scabbard for it.

Mine is an Israeli Kareen, a clone of the HP but a damn good one. I found some surplus military/LEO HP leather belt holsters on eBay for something like $14 or so. Little scrubbing and oiling, works perfectly. Has a thumb break strap that only fits when the hammer is cocked, straps across the back of the slide and covers the firing pin. Perhaps I'll wear it today.....

I used to carry mine in a British Special Forces shoulder holster. Picked one up on a surplus deal. Simply effortless carry if you can live with the grip forward position.

Leather holster with a spring steel grip built into it that left the pistol open on top but very secure.

I have since sold my Hi Powers but kept the holster in case I get another Hi Power one day. Vigilance right?:D

I've got half a dozen Hi-Power holsters. Since 2002, I've been carrying in a Milt Sparks Versa-Max 2. I started out carrying just behind the point of the hip (3:30) and I now carry just forward of the point of the hip (2:30). Great rig. Completely concealable. I can wear it all day in comfort, even while driving.

The tuckable feature is more difficult to manage; but I've worn it that way too. It is nice to be able to conceal a full-size pistol in casual business attire and nobody is the wiser.

Milt Sparks VMII at about 3:30 o'clock. Carry it cocked and locked.

IWB @ 4 o'clock in a double clip on holster from Bullard Leather in Adzle, Texas...every day. RE: Too pretty to shoot...I have a duplicate safe queen.:D

WVSig -- WOW!

Looks like those have been to Novak's? Or Cylinder and Slide?

Great taste!

First one went to Don Williams at The Action Works who is a BHP master. The second one went to Wild West Guns and Jim West worked his magic.

This one went to Novak.

Those are some really nice BHPs, Sig. All these other 9's in the world want to be a BHP when they grow up.... :)

I use a Milt Sparks Summer Special for warm weather wear, or when I'm in a suit. There's a great little OWB holster from Kirkpatrick Leather that is my cold weather carry option. Both options are at the 4 o'clock position.
