i have a browning medallion in 7mm rem mag. I’ve been thinking about trading it off. It’s not very accurate and would like to get something more accurate. I looked at used ones on gun trader and seen they really have some value. Are there certain models or years that carry a higher value than others? I was very surprised what they are asking. Thanks

Beautiful rifle if there is any. Hope you get what you want for it. Just out of curiosity, how inaccurate is it?

I don't know of a year more valuable than another, but older Brownings made in Belgium used to bring a premium. I think it migh have been before the medallion denomination, but I also think wrong quite often, so I will let someone who knows for sure answer you on that one. Good luck!

Best I can get is about 1.75 inch at 100. I loaded as many different combos and factory loads as I could find. Some were absolutely horrible. I bought it about 20 years ago. It seemed to shoot better the first few years I had it. I hadn’t shot it in about 10 years. I got it out a couple years ago and started with it again. And yes, I checked the scope and rings and base, it all tight. It’s an a bolt. What bugs me about it, I have many other rifles that shoot sub moa so I hardly ever use it.

how much are you looking to get for it?

I have no idea, I was think it was maybe worth 2-3 hundred bucks, after looking at some of the used ones ones, I guess it’s worth a bit more than that.

I had a .338 Win Mag A-bolt medallion. By far the most beautiful rifle I have ever owned.

It also kicked like an angry mule, so it was one of the most short-lived rifles I ever owned as well...o_O

Stay safe!

I was looking at maybe weatherby vanguard, Bergara, or maybe even (I know you don’t have to tell me) Winchester xpr. I haven’t physically touched any of the 3 but have read many reviews on all. I’d rather not spend a ton on the gun, I’d rather put it in the scope.
