Looking at browning rifles, what makes an X bolt worth $150 more than an A bolt.
BLR looks interesting too....

Its new. The X-Bolt has some features that the A doesn't; like a botton on the lever that lets you remove a round without disengaging the safety. The X has a smaller reciever that you can almost wrap your hand around. Did I mention that the X is new? Gotta pay for that research & development.

Not a thing IMO. I like the feel, fit and finish of the A-Bolt much better than the X-Bolt. I also don't care for the rotary mag too much.

WRT the BLR, I find them to be a outstanding design, available in all sorts of great chambering...but they are butt ugly and don't fit me well...so they just aren't for me. Take a look at Winchester/Browning 1895s and Savage 99s for a similar action (well not really, but they are magazine fed levers, which is what I think you like about it).

OT: Mike, when did you move to "never never land...never land here!"?...sounds like a dandy place. :D
