My father has had a Bucheimer Clark leather In-the-pants holster (model 14c-14) for his Colt Python for nearly 40 years. He is an retired SWAT officer and this has been his primary carry gun since he bought it. It has been to the smith for trigger jobs and repair jobs over the years and he is strickly loyal to the gun and carry method.

He will not carry it any other way, but his holster is literally failing apart. I would love to suprise him for christmas with another one, or a similar brand that is almost exactly the same.

I told him I was going to treat the leather so that I could snap some pics of it.

Contact one of our members, named robbt. He's in New York, and his speciality is new, but older revolver holsters from the time period you're interested in.

The holster isn't uncommon, but one for a Python is. If one can be found he will either have it, or know where they can be had. I wish you luck.
