Having a hard time explaining to my better half why I just ordered a Buck Copper110 ( $270,00 ). When I tried telling her that only 250 are being made, she just gave me a blank look and says " So " . J swear, if I haven't been married to her for 48 yers , I would trade her for a newer model., however it has taken this long to teach her to put the toilet seat back up when she's finished so I guess I will stick it out.:)

The knife has a copper frame, right?

Copper is pretty soft so I don't know how functional a copper frame knife would be. Any knife that isn't usable is jewelery so you may have more in common with your wife than you think.

When my wife complians about me buying a knife, or gun, or anything really, I kindly remind her of her spending habits. Hair, nails, makeup, her new car, are all monthly expendatures that really add up when you actually calculate the total. She spends more than me over the coarse of time, but doesnt realize it because she really nothing to show for it in the end. I end up with items that will last my lifetime with a one time payment.
