Are they only available in Black anymore? All the ones online seem black.

..and to pull pots off the fire.
as for the breaking when batoning, maybe if you are trying to pound the knife thru a knot.... but any knife is capable of breaking under those circumstances.

Is he trying to go through a knot?

Also, I'm not a batoning guy, what is the proper technique? I've always thought batoning was kinda silly.

I'd blame the guy in the video...that log was way to big to be batonned and he ran through a knot, and his technique is horrible.

That's also just one knife, how many other breaks are documented?
