I bought a Buck 3 ½ inch folding knife about 40 years ago, it came with a nice sheath. It was stolen out of my truck about 25 years ago, I really liked that knife but never replaced it.
I had told my daughter about it some time ago and mentioned that one day I would replace it but seeing as though I really had no need for it would probably never happen.
This weekend for my B-Day my daughter sent me a new Buck “classic” Hunter.
It is still a nice knife, the sheath could be made better, My question I have is have the newer ones reduced the width ? (not the thickness)
It might be my old age memory but I would swear that the older one was wider. Anyone know if they are the same and it just my memory ?

If the knife you describe is the 110 Folding Hunter, it has been tweaked a bit down through the years, it's a little more rounded and a little narrower than when it was introduced.

Thanks for the info. It is nice to know my memory is not starting to go.
I guess when they say it is a 110 classic the don't mean like the original.
