Buffalo area

Howdee y'all,

I'm a Canadian who has lots of firearms experience but no license. I have a friend i wanna teach and i was wondering if you'all know of any place in buffalo or near buffalo (driving distance from the niagara falls boarder) where we can go for the day and rent some handguns and shoot. I've been to places like this elsewhere in the USA but don't know of any in that area. We are thinking of going this weekend, maye Sunday.

I have never heard of a place in NY to rent guns at a range--seems NY in there wisdom makes it illegal to even touch a handgun unless you have a permit.
I know gun dealers wont allow you to handle pistols unless you show your permit

There are no public ranges in New York (anywhere in the state I think) that will allow you to rent pistols.

Without a Valid New York State permit you are not even legal to handle a pistol in this terrible state.

As a canadian, and not a New York State resident, I am fairly confident you will not be able to shoot (handguns) here...stupid rules in my opinion.

New York also has no reciprocity with any other states as well!

You will be luckier going to another state

Ranges in Michigan

Go west young man, go west. Lots of ranges in Michigan that will rent you a firearm for use on their range. Not cheap but available. We're more gun friendly than NY but not much.
