Bul ltd.?

They are an Israeli gun manufacturer that's been around for decades. They make pretty good stuff. They have several lines of 1911 and CZ75 clones that are relatively popular.

Kimber's 10-II doublestack was a rebadged BUL pistol, and I had one for years. It ran like a top, and I shot the living snot outta it.

I have a Kimber-rollmarked BUL M5. The turnoffs are that the MSH, grip safety, and magazine catch are proprietary to the M5. The magazine catch is also plastic.

Para magazines work with some filing, and para triggers work with some fitting. Unless they've changed something, you're limited in ambi safeties - the only one I know of that will work is from Kimber I've heard that STI magazines work, but haven't tried them myself. Dovetails are the same as Kimber.

Pistol runs great. I have shot other M5s rollmarked BUL and Charles Daly that were on par with mine. Only difference I found between them was the rollmarks and the oddball square trigger guard on a couple of them.

I am aware that BUL makes pistols other than the M5, but its the only one I have any experience with. I have over 10,000 rounds through mine.
