Bullets for me!

Here we go again with the self appointed righteous and always correct. Whose soul purpose is to be sure everybody falls in line with their view of right and wrong. Then try and tie a simple reference of a "bullet" to the anti gun crowd.
Then after all that add no value whatsoever to the OP's thread.

The OP has scored some stash. Good on him. Sounds like he got 'em pretty reasonable also to boot!

Wait- you didn't post your criticism because of being self appointed righteous and always correct and with the soul (sole?) purpose of ensuring everyone falls in line with your view of what's right and wrong?? Ok, I am poking a bit of fun to make a point.

It is annoying to have folks roll their eyes when a correction is made about proper use of terms because they also complain when the anti-gunners want to ban their favorite firearm as an "assault weapon", a deliberately ambiguous term. The truth is, the anti-gunners do mis-use terms and definitions to obfuscate the issue and confuse people.

When the poster made a comment about the use of the word "bullet", an opportunity for good humor as well as teaching was missed. The picture in the first post does show the bullets the poster purchased, it's just that the bullets are part of the ammunition. It could have pointed out that there are indeed bullets in the bags. Perhaps a better understanding of the correct meaning of the word "bullet" would have made that obvious

How bout we try not to get the op thread locked with bickering?

Intercool out of curiosity do mind letting us know what you paid for that stash?

Good response Intercooler. But if you ever run into an oddball caliber or something obsolete, I encourage you to give reloading a try simply cuz its fun and satisfying to keep an old gun working ( to myself at least ). Good shooting to you sir.

I always chuckle at the guys who show up with a slew of ammo and pop them off just as fast as they can. Doesn't matter to them if they hit their target one bit and they learn nothing LOL. This past weekend a guy showed up with a Desert Eagle next to me and he had a PVC stand. He ended up having to stop three times to repair it about 20 minutes a repair. Couldn't even put the bullets in a 2'x2' target.

Long time ago, a friend of mine got an Auto Mag for Metallic Silhouette shooting and it was the same story: fire, clear, fire, clear, fire. In my callow and undiplomatic youthful way, I wisecracked that it was sure a fine-looking single-shot pistol and how much I admired the advantage of having a separate compartment for extra cartridges.

In modern terms, he "unfriended" me right quick. Around that time I also learned never to ask a lady if she was pregnant. Ah, carefree youth! Glad I made it through those years without too many scars.

Almost as good as the guy on the other side popping off 9mm one handed as fast as he could without putting a single one in the circle LOL.

Yeah. Another faux pas. Asked the spraying and praying guy if he wouldn't rather just light up a string of firecrackers, whereupon he let loose with a string of words unsuitable for THR. Words relating to my geneology and parenthood and the low intelligence of my tuchas.

Ah, my ingenuous youth!

I keep all my bullets loaded in hi capacity clips ready to pop into my assault weapons at the first knock on my front door.

He paid $.22 per round of 9mm before shipping.

For reloads? Ouch.

Wally World sells Federal 115 gr. 9mm for $20/box of 100 around here. Tula and Wolf can be had for $0.19/rd delivered, too.

I remember paying $11 for WWB 100 packs not long ago (6 or 8 years). Wasn't even worth reloading then. With plated bullets, you can still load for about that today.
