Heres a thought from a non gunner. What about a bullpup autoloader, dual pistol grips, 18'' barrel. Put alot of thougt into it, basicly a wood ''cradle'' cupping receiver and magizine tube, freind of mine said while he was attending gussmithing school one of the classmates made one. I think it would be a great home defence gun :D

You mean like this?

Clusive,
Did you buy the stock for that bullpup seperate? I saw a shotgun that looked very similair and had a mossberg 500 inside the stock. The guy who owned it said he paid $200 at a gun show for the whole package. I later asked some friends about the subject and one seemed to think he remembered shotgun news magazine ads with just the stocks for sale. If you did buy the stock seperate could lead me to the place where I can pick one up too?

High Standard made a shotgun, The Enforcer, I think and occasionally you can still find that semi-auto bull pup around.

Yes like that, but in wood no gharging handle and without the recoil reducing stock. Almost a ''drop in conversion'' than any thing else, and also with a shorter pull, due to my lack of knowledge in autoloading shotguns i really dont know what can be achieved.
and i was thinking about an electric servo acting on the origanal.

In days of yore I handled and fired both the Mossberg and the HS Model 10. I found them awkward, and IIRC, the HS was difficult to reload. The triggers were forrible to boot.

The concept has merit, but those were not well executed.
