The pic above is the way I got the gun. It's an armi jäger made by emf. It has little cash value, but is a good shooter. .357 mag 15" barrel. The current plan is to turn a blank barrel extension and fix that, put on a shoulder skeleton stock, and put on a vernier rear sight. Front sight will be a hooded blade that will be on the barrel extension. Please if you have experience with any of these mods, the info would be appreciated. I plan to bore the extension to .40 to allow plenty room for bullet to travel but not impact the extension on the barrel. Fixing the barrel extension by soldering it on.

A problem in the past has been flames from cylinder gap burning off arm Bob

As long as you ALWAYS remember to keep both hands behind the cylinder gap, there's no problem. The B/p revolving rifles have fancy trigger guards to hold with the forward hand to prevent flame cutting of the arm.

I guess that does explain the Taurus fugly front stock. I guess I need to see how much gap flash there is with full house loads.

Yep. But if you can trust yourself not to put your arm or hand where it will get burned, you can get a license for a shoulder stock for $200, which will probably be cheaper than rebarreling or putting on a barrel extension.
