I recently bought a Burris FF III red dot sight. I am shooting consistently to the right since I have installed it (on my Sig 320). I thought I read somewhere that if you are shooting to the right, turn the adjustment screw to the right. The customer service rep at Burris told me that if I want to move the point of impact to the left, then turn the screw to the left, which contradicts my prior stmt about turning it to the right. I don't have the gun or the manual with me at the moment but I believe it indicates turning the screw to the right to move the POI to the left (which contradicts what Burris told me on the phone).

Anybody know?

Why don't you think Burris would know the correct (and logical) answer?
Oh heck, just go for it and turn it to the left.
Let us know what happens.

Its not rocket science, mine are marked with an arrow to indicate direction of POI shift with index marks. If you turn it wrong way, turn it back twice as far in the opposite direction next time.

I have two of those sights. If you are shooting right, turn the screw to adjust it to the left.

This could be about the front sight on a pistol which has fixed rear sights, such as the Vektor CP1. If you are shooting to the right, you drift the front sight to the right.
