I guess my Google-Fu leaves a lot to be desired. I have been searching for a set of Burris Signature Rings for a Ruger No. 1. Why, might you ask? Because the rib on the darn gun is not straight and the thing shoots 20" to the left at 50 yards. :what: Needless to say, there isn't that much windage adjustment in the scope.

I think I can get it to center a scope over the bore and get it zeroed if I can find some Burris Signature rings that takes the eccentric inserts. I can find the Burris Signature rings easy enough, but so far, not for Ruger. :(

Can any HighRoaders help?

Thanks in advance!

I don't think Burris makes such an animal. The closest you'll find is the Weaver adapter, I think. I agree that sending it to Ruger is your best bet. That way you can install the scope the right way, rather than starting off with a band-aid.

if you say it is off buy by 20 inches at 50 yards that is a LOT. I don't think there is any set of rings that will solve that problem

send the rifle back to Ruger
Believe it or not, it has been back to Ruger. They say there is nothing wrong with it.

I had an old Remington that did this and I was able to correct it with Burris Signature rings and the eccentric inserts.

I was able to find Weaver 2 piece adapters for Ruger M77 and Redhawk but I don't know if those will fit the Number One.

Did you verify that the issue is not the scope by trying a proven one first?I'm not trying to insult you,but that is really off,and I would think Ruger would find that large an error in the base.If you did,you may want to try the Moulds bases sold Brownells. They move the mounting point back to help eye relief, and adapt the Ruger bases to Weaver type rings. They replace the rib, which may be your underlying problem anyway. They are pricey, but if you want to use the Weaver adapters, you will need to buy two sets to make them work. The #1 rings are the same height, and the M77 uses one short and one taller ring,so you will need two sets if you choose that route.Either way will allow the use of the Burris Signature rings.
