re-directed post.
We are in 2 different ballparks.
I have no kids, so I can't argue with you there.
My taxes are over $500 every 2 weeks and I too am middle class so I find that non-changing.
Yassar Arifat is dead, so it's no surprise he isn't "shoving it down their throats" I do recall Condoleeza Rice and Collin Powell before her making frequent trips to lay out their "Roadmap to Peace" ( I think that is their catchy slogan).
Dubya's message to terrorists is simply poop.
"Should I be fortunate enough to earn your confidence, the mission of the United States military will be to be prepared and ready to fight and win war. And therefore prevent war from happening in the first place."
Presidential Debate #3, St. Louis, Missouri, Oct. 17, 2000
"This notion that the United States is getting ready to attack Iran is simply ridiculous. And having said that, all options are on the table. "
-- Brussels, Belgium, Feb. 22, 2005
"Any time we've got any kind of inkling that somebody is thinking about doing something to an American and something to our homeland, you've just got to know we're moving on it, to protect the United Nations Constitution, and at the same time, we're protecting you."—Aberdeen, S.D
"For a century and a half now, America and Japan have formed one of the great and enduring alliances of modern times."—Tokyo, Japan, Feb. 18, 2002
I could fling these at you all day, no doubt there's PLENTY of 'em.
As far as what Clinton did for me.... endorsed the hummer?
I don't endorse him either, so don't assume my political preferences.
I don't mind telling you that I cast my ballot for Bush, not because I thought he would be a wise president (he already proved the contrary over 1000 times) but because he deserved to shovel the **** he got America in.
I believe we are on the course of no return. North Korea, Iran, and Syria are already crap-their-pants mad at us, and a few others are feeling the rumble in their bowels. How far can you stretch the military across the world before our only recourse is WMDs?
The dream of world peace can't come about by bombing other countries right? Your "Hero" thinks so. I'd have to agree with him here.
"Russia is no longer our enemy and therefore we shouldn't be locked into a Cold War mentality that says we keep the peace by blowing each other up. In my attitude, that's old, that's tired, that's stale."—Des Moines, Iowa, June 8, 2001
There, thats the last one. Actually, can you come up with anything "Origional and intelligent" that our fearless leader has said?
