Bushmaster 45

Looks like a 45 caliber version of the 50 beowolf. Most likely a 308 sized case head. Similar to the 458 SOCOM.
This is the first I've seen it too. Could be fun.

I would have preferred a .444 Marlin, but, I guess maybe length would not have worked--time to go compare--BRB--nope, won't fit. So, if it is the 5.56 format magazine, we now that the round is shorter than a .444.

If the upper could swap with a standard 5.56 upper with no change in the buffer assembly, sounds like a good thing.

why not just get a Beowulf..?


as an aside, I was thinking yesterday that it might be neat to put a .45acp bullet in rifle brass...seems I'm a bit behind on that one :p
 
How would this new Bushmaster .45 compare to a 7,62x39 .308 or 6.5 Grendel?Within 200 yds?Take large critters, use standard Bushmaster lowers?
