Oh, I see what you mean. True very true. Yeah, that is the model Kahles I have. It is on a Thompson Center Icon in a 243 that shoots literally one hole groups with handloads. The first time I sighted it in I shot twice and thought the second shot was a flyer. This was at 100 yards. So the third shot I held it ever so slightly higher and it created just a lip on the previous one hole group. I went on to confirm the accuracy and it was easily repeatable as long as I did my job.I don't find magnification to be the primary problem (I find that many folks use more than they need for most any task), but rather a general lack of features desired for target shooting (for LR target they include: FFP, matched reticle/adjustments, ballistic reticle, et al).
BTW, if your Kahles is one of the discontinued CL models from CDNN it is a fantastic scope for the money.
