If anyone out there’s interested in an AR scope (or for something else?), the Bushnell Throw Down PCL is now $199 @ Amazon – that’s the best price (by far) that I’ve ever seen on this scope.

I have one of these, and know of three more that were bought after folks checked mine out.

Note this is a First Focal Plane reticle – most scopes sold are Second Focal Plane – with this scope, the reticle changes size depending on what power you have dialed up, but the BDC marks maintain their values no matter the power you select.

Here’s a video explanation of First vs. Second Focal Plane Reticles

Here’s Bushnell’s site on the scope:

Looks good. Just remember to Join Amazon Smile so 1% of your purchase price goes to the charity of your choice (I selected the NRA). The purchase price remains the same.

Ordered mine. I'll see how it compared to my Burris Tac 30. The listed weight is the same.

I often see it mounted pretty far forward in pictures here and on AR15.com, does it have a pretty long eye relief or are you all just nose-to-charging-handle types? As I mention in my .sig, I am not.

PS: The old guy made an UNIX mail/USENET reference.

I have mine mounted so the eyepiece ends pretty much at charging handle - specs say it has 3.6" eye relief.

Got mine mounted in a Bobro 30mm Extended Mount.

Great scope. I replaced a Trijicon TriPower with one, and it does everything I wanted. The red chevron on my Trijicon was no larger than the reticle on the Bushnell at 1x. In the daylight, I don't need the illumination, in fact you can't see it anyway. At 1x, I get the quick acquisition of the Trijicon, but have the option of additional magnification and BDC.

Just got it today. Like it. Thanks to OP for posting. Same weight as my Burris TAC 30 but shorter and with more eye relief. I like the the fact the lever is almost straight left for 1x, straight up for 2x and straight right for 4x.

PS. Almost forgot!
