OK, so need some ideas here...

got $$ in hand and need a new cc .....

want a 1911 style in 9mm

can't find an EMP to save my life ....:cuss:

anyone have suggestions......for something else ?

Ok, so what's your price limit (roughly) and were you dead-set on a 1911 platform? I understand Para Warthogs can also be had in 9mm and possibly for less than the EMP. Just an option (if it must be along the lines of the 1911).

Look for a used EMP--they are out there.
I gave one away about a year ago--hardly had 200 rounds through it, and I sold it for $825 with four mags (one free mag after each of two trips back to Geneseo).

After going through two EMPs, I was honestly pretty happy to see it go (although I miss it, I am getting over it). The new owner is happy and I am happy. What could be better?

I'll stick with my two Kimbers (Ultra Carry and Ultra CDP). They fit the same holster, only a few ten-thousandths of an inch difference in size in any dimension, no difference in weight, and they fire a .45 instead of a 9mm.
 
I have seen a few EMP's new and used at the Cabela's here in CT but I have to say I haven't been there in a few months. I don't know if they will transfer between stores or not but I would call them, see if they do and if so have them check if any of their stores have one.

Also there are a few on GunsAmerica in 9mm and 40
