Hi everybody,
I'm new here. I get a lot of good info from this site so u know I can get some good advice here.
I have the opportunity to buy a winchester model 70 featherweight in 7mm-08 remington with a Redfield scope for $600. The problem is that it is from the New Haven plant. I know that winchester had moved production to the Charleston plant and those new production rifles are supposed to be excellent.
I have heard bad things about the New Haven produced models.
The new ones are like $900. So this I've is a real good deal, but not if I risk getting a dud.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks,
Danny
