I own a Glock 19 RTF2, it is a super sweet pistol.

I had a 19c. 10,050 rounds through it in less than two years....maybe three situations where it malfunctioned due to limp wristing. Otherwise, load up whatever...steel cased, +p+ or whatever you like, pull the trigger and it will go bang. Great gun!

I loved my G19 a lot. My boss gave all of us one lazer engraved with our names and the company logo on the side. I carry it every day OC or CCW. I modded it out and still love it to death. I felt it was just a little to small for carrying in the field though. I was super lucky and found a G17 in OD used. I love both of them and would recommend them to anyone.

You've have made a fine choice.
Years ago my dad had a Glock 17, it was the first centerfire gun I ever fired. When I got into shooting on my own I bought something else - having a been-there-done-that attitude about Glocks. After about 2 years of shooting other stuff I went into my favorite gun store bought a Glock 19.

I own many other fine firearms, some are prettier, some have more features, some conceal better, but none of them will replace my Glock 19.

I was set against the glock for a long time just because of the looks (shallow I know) but after one of my buddies bought one and brought it to my house to let me shoot it.... I went and bought one that day. Now after owning a glock 19, I wouldn't carry anything else. Ugly fellers but man they do what they are suppose to. It eats anything I put in it, no failures period even during break in. nothin but love for the glock

glock has already said they have no plans to stop 3rd gen production.

they are the most popular pistols in the world. to do so would be a disastrous business decision.

Glocks work, but my main reason for wanting to buy a Glock is because the magazines are so darn cheap.

yeah, people put 'em in there, doesn't seem to cause any harm, but if you don't lube and get every drop of water out, it could potentially lead to rust.

as a general rule, i don't put guns in the dishwasher.

I love my G19 RTF2. As I have said in the past, it is a near perfect combination of concealability, accuracy, balance, and firepower.


I own a G17 OD and a G26 OD as well. My main problem right now is deciding on whether I want to carry the G19 RTF2 or my G17 OD.
