I live in pittsburgh Pa and i want to know if i can buy ammo online without having a C and R license or anything else. I cant find 7.62R anywhere cheap so i want to buy off the internet. Can i just pay by like pay pal or visa and get ammo in the mail?

Yup, provided it's legal where you live (and I have no reason to think it isn't). You may just have to prove you're 18 years old or older. Some sellers require you to submit a form verifying your age or a copy of your driver's license, but you certainly don't need an FFL or anything like that.

I live in good ol IL (not gun friendly) and I have ordered ammo a couple of times from cheaperthandirt.com with no problems. They make it make it really easy!

Pennsylvania does not prohibit you from purchasing ammo online. I live near Philly, and that's exactly how I've bought the bulk of my ammo.

Different vendors will have their own restrictions on how they handle proof of age requirements. E.g., Cabela's doesn't ask for proof of age, while AIM Surplus requires you to send them a copy of your driver's licence (they'll accept a digital photo emailed to them).
