Buying Remington model 700 sps dm

Hi there guys, am new to this forum but have read a few posts here before.

Was looking to buy a first centerfire rifle and was looking at the model 700 sps dm, I was just wondering if any one here has owned one of the recent models and what their experiences with this rifle where like as far as acuracy goes manly.

I was planning on getting one chamberd in 7mm08 and might do a little range use but manly for hunting.

I have read alot about people free floating the barrels on these rifles, would love to hear any info on this rifle thanks

Ive been happy with all the 700s ive gotten. Floating the barrel can sometimes help accuracy, sometimes make it worse, it realy depends on the gun. Get ur gun shoot it see how it does, you may not want to do anything, you may want to mess with alot.
