" Well, I'm probably going to forego a gun purchase in March and spend that month's gun money on a Dillon progressive reloader..."

A Star will last for generations

The Star Progressive Reloaders first made in 1931 have lasted for generations. They were the highest priced, most accurate, with the best materials and with 70 years of a tradition of quality workmanship they have been used by more pistol champions than any other reloader.

Owners are passing away now and their Stars are appearing at auctions at bargain prices with millions of rounds of lifetime left with only three primer feeding parts needing replacement every 250,000-300.000 rounds during their over 2 million round lifetime.

The Star Reloaders Group welcomes new owners

Paul Jones: I am interested in the Star reloaders, and would like to sign up for the list you posted a link to. However, it seems to require me to "sign-up" for Topica. The sign up sheet seems to ask a number of rather personal RL questions. Will it affect my service at all if I give false answers to preserve my privacy? Does "Topica" distribute the info obtained in any way?

Thank you.

The Star Reloaders List

Yes you need to join topica and I receive one newsletter WebMd for the priviledge of having a list where there is NO spam or unwanted messages as every post is moderated. Star reloaders have been the most accurate and expensive reloader made that lasts for generations and Star owners tend to be above average as competitors, economically and professionally. So the list protects them as the list is readable by anyone but the members names and addresses in messages to each other are corrupted by Topica so no member can be spammed.

Now I require that I know the true names of members because we buy and sell Star reloaders, components and parts with each other and true names are a must when doing business with each other. Once I have your neme it will never be mentioned unless you post it yourself and you can use any alias like Quantrill or Creeker or what ever you wish to use on the list. True addresses are required also. Do you want to sent a thousand dollars to mad max on Yahoo or hotmail? Of course not, we have doctors, professors, Military and civilian officers, businessmen, active and retired military, several menbers are in Iraq and communicate from there. We also have top competitors. All confidental unless you are a member and wish to communicate.

If you wish to communicate with someone I will forward your post with your true address and you will receive the same from someone else and that is the only way for professional people to communicate. I have a 131 members that don't mind including police chiefs and members at the Pentagon.

The other reloading moderator here owns a Star.

I ask that members introduce themselves and the calibers they load so other members with experience in those calibers can assist you. I do most of the communicating off the list solving problems and send some posts to the group that they can have input on the subject. Reading the list is what decides most members to join and profesional people do not wish to be flooded with chat and me toos. The members like the list the way it is or they will leave.

All Topica wants to do is send you their newsletters. Our information does not get sold. We do not discuss weapons only your Star and any problems we may assist you with.

I hope I have answered your question.

Paul Jones AKA Fitz and John Paul

Paul Jones: thank you for that information. I understand the concerns you have mentioned about security and the quality of messages on a list. I had not considered the many valid reasons you give for needing Rl information. I think I shall restrain my enthusiasm and merely read the list until I am fortunate enough to own one of those fine pieces of machinery. Thank you.
