I came across a case of factory BVAC 180-grain 10mm ammo laying around the house. Does anyone know if these are shooting-quality cartridges or should I save myself some time and pull them apart for the components?

My experience: dirty, lots of coarse unburnt powder, and all over the target... probably due in large part to wildly erratic velocity. That wasn't recent and it wasn't 10mm. YMMV.

The dept. that I work for we use BVAC for qualification. I can't say that in 13 years we have ever had a bad round. Is good enough for quals all the way out to 50 yards. And have even hit from 100 yards with it.

I would not hesitate to use BVAC. The owner of BVAC was the production Manager for HSM.

I have some BVAC .223. It shoots great but like already mentioned, it's pretty dirty. My rifle is a mess afterwards.
