I requested the forms about a week and a half ago and got them yesterday. I wonder how long it will take for the licence to arrive?

I got mine in 26 days. i live in North Carolina.

??Mine only took 17 days from NC...

Did anyone notice that you are agreeing to let the Department of Justice check into your:
Medical records
Work records
Criminal records
Military records

I can understand their wanting to make sure you're not a convicted felon but I don't see a need for the other stuff.You are authorizing them to do a VERY thorough background check when you sign off on the newest application.
Ask yourself,Is it really worth it.
What kind of future problems/unintended consequences are you creating for yourself?

Well, for those of us in NY we have to submit to the same background check for a pistol permit anwyays.
