I went to the big annual collector show in Denver today for the first time. Amidst the (disappointingly boring) mountain of well used 1873s and classic lever guns, there were a few gems and rarities that jumped out.

One particularly baffling one was a Baby Browning that had been gussied up, and was tagged as having been customized by Cylinder and Slide. That struck me as odd since I usually think of them only in context of 1911s, BHPs, and Smiths. Anyone heard of such a thing?

I don't know about any custom Baby Brownings by Cylinder and Slide Shop but Precision Small Arms has a number of different Baby Browning models that have been "gussied up" from mild to wild. Starting with a Montreux Gold or Silver plated version (at $999), to the Renaissance line-up ( engraved along with ivory grips and numerous finishes like charcoal blued, French Gray, Coin Nickel, or Gold plated), all yours for $3199. There's also the Imperiale at $3799 and for the Grand Finale the Grand Exhibition No.1 priced at $5499.

This definitely wasn't a PSA (when I get elected to public office I'll definitely have one of their exhibition models on my desk!) Deep blue, some sort of real or faux ivory panels. I didn't look too closely since the guys at the table seemed a little gruff and I wasn't shopping for a 25 anyway.
