Is anyone familar with that holster? It looks to be very concealable as it (the holster) is entirely below the belt. I am in the market for my first holster and am wondering what to purchase. Seems like a good first holster but I would like more info first.

Or would Matt Del Fatti ,from Del Fatti Leather, ISP-WR holster be a better option? Anyone have one of these?

Which of the above holsters do you think looks more inconspicuous? The two loops on the belt or the single piece of leather with he two slits in it?

Get the Comp Tac. They make some great holsters. I think the 2 Kydex clips that are spaced out will be more inconspicuous than the leather straps.

I have both

Matt's leather work is second to none. The holster I have is a IWB and is beautiful and classy, but his work takes time.

The CTAC is my favorite because it is so versatile. It can be tucked and adjusted in many ways, it also keeps it's shape when gun is drawn from the holster and you can get one, and Gregg can have it to you in a hurry.

They both have excellent reputations and customer service.

You have made two very good choices and either way you go you are not going to be disappointed.

good luck

I have the C-TAC.

I carry a G-30. It is VERY comfortable. I am built like a linebacker. I carry IWB, OWB and Shirt tucked with it and find it conceals the thick Glock very well.

As you can see I recommend it highly. Don't know what else you could ask for.

Hope this helps.

I have both the Comp-Tac Undercover and Shirt Tucker. Had the Undercover longer, but I may trade in the Shirt-Tucker for the C-TAC because of the 2 clips. The Shirt Tucker does tend to swivel forward (down) a bit much for me sometimes. For carrying IWB when you have a jacket or untucked shirt, I love the Undercover.

BTW, I carry a P229.

Rabbit.

I have a Comp-Tac Undercover, and I love it. It is very well made and the customer service that Gregg offers is second to none.

I used to not like kydex holsters, but now, I do not think that I could go back to leather, unless it is for an old S&W revolver or some other classic iron that has a need for fine hide to keep it company.:) For work use, you cant beat Comp-Tac IMO.

Any more input on these holsters? I like the spaced apart loops as well. the only question is, what type of belt am I supposed to wear with this holster? Just any regular belt or do I need a special kind?

Here's another one for you to consider. Sort of the best of both worlds. Comes from Tucker Gunleather:

I've got a coupla CTACs; they rock.

Matt's rides are very well liked, and that answer thing looks pretty good.

I don't think you could screw this choice up if you tried...

:)

I received my first C-TAC Slide in the mail a couple of days ago. It is a slick rig, and so far I am impressed overall. I'll reserve more until after I use it some.

On belts - I recommend, as with any holster, than you acquire a quality gunbelt.

Got my G19 riding in a Comp-Tac Undercover Pro and I love it.

Well made, lightweight, great customer service and an affordable price.

Well worth it!!!
