CA Bulldog Cylinder Timing Question

If you believe that's what is needed to take care of the problem, do so. Nick Ecker will make it good and do it with a smile! It should be back within 2 weeks or less.

God bless.

Zendude, yes, I can rotate the cylinder until it locks when I close it. I'm not sure I understand why you ask this question. I can do the same thing on all of my revolvers.

I was just thinking that maybe the cylinder stop might not be working which could cause the issue you are having with the unloaded cylinder not lining up with the barrel.

It has been a bit over 6 weeks since I decided to send the Bulldog, unfired, back to Charter to have the cylinder's timing corrected. I sent the gun back to Charter 3 weeks ago and received it today. The cylinder was replaced by Charter and to my satisfaction all seems to be in order. I'm jazzed, to say the least. While I have yet to fire the gun, I must say that this gun feels better in my hand than any I have owned or now own. So I'm keen to see if this makes a difference in my shooting.

On another note, I had to send my Ruger 38 +P, which I have owned for two years, back to Ruger. The Cylinder fell off the crane after a range session last week. What was I shooting -- wadcutter target loads!

I hope it's a good shooter for you!

I have two CA revolvers: a 44 special, and a 32 H&R magnum. Both of them function well and have decent triggers. Those are two of my favorite calibers and I appreciate CA making revolvers that fire them.
