Having never used or owned any bore sighter, does it fit snugly into any bore, even with the Spanish FR8 (HK) and Enfield "Jungle" flash hiders? This device seems to fit into the muzzles of many calibers.

All of my guns have only iron sights.

If you stand By the target, can you see the laser dot from about 100 yards in bright sunlight?
I see nothing wrong with walking back and forth a few times, IF the dot can't be seen from the bench.

No.
The most powerful red laser that is legal cannot be seen 100 yards away on a sunny day.

Maybe if you had a reflective target, maybe.
But I doubt it.

If all your guns have iron sights, why do you think you need a laser bore sighter in the first place?

All you need to do is shot one shot from sandbag rest and get out the hammer & brass punch to adjust the sight.

My curiosity is mostly from having never seen one in use.

If your rifle is on sandbags and you walk over and stand immediately in front of the target 100 yards away
("by the target"), would you be able to see the laser point from about a foot away?

I don't know.
I have never tried it.

I do know I have a Crimson Trace laser grip that is just about useless past 15-20 yards or so on a black target center on a sunny day.
And even worse in green foliage in the woods.
