Has anyone here ever tried Cabela's commercial reloads, for either rifle or pistol ammo? Good? Bad?

I've ordered S&B and Wolf ammo from Cabela's before and been pleased with the service. I was wondering if their cheap stuff is worth it for paper punching.

TIA.

Are you referring to the ones that are often sold in ammo cans? If so, I've used some in .223 without any problems.

I got 600 rounds of .45ACP reloads from them. A little scruffy looking, it came in plastic bags, but it all shot fine, no failures at all.

Most reload manuals advise never to use anyone else's reloads. I once purchased a box of 50 rounds of "remanufactured" .223. A few of the rounds had complete case seperation. never bought them again (These were not from Cabelas but a large sporting goods chain).

You don't know how many times those cases were fired, nor the quality control that goes into them.

Buy factory frh ammo or make your own t and use high standards when you do so.
