Cabelas with "backorderable" 22LR?

anyone look at that? A buddy was able to order 1,000 rounds and he said they are pretty quick in shipping it out (usually sooner than they expect). Price isn't bad either, the only thing with 'em is they might not work well in a semi-auto firearm. It should be ok in a wheel gun...

That round isn't even on the federal ammo site. The closest they have in suppressor brand is a 42gr solid rated at 1050 FPS which is a standard velocity round. I run standard velocity out of my 10/22 suppressed and it works great.

I wonder what the specs are on this 40gr round?

thanks for the heads up. Hopefully by the 18 weeks it says it will take, there will be some .22LR in general availability.

It's a no-brainer if you have a 22LR wheel gun. I'm going to try it with a semi-auto and see what happens.

They are saying 18 weeks now? it said 6-8 weeks just yesterday...

Picked up four (50 ct) boxes of cheap Remington 22lr at Dunhams today, four being their store limit. They probably had another dozen on the shelf, maybe I'll get lucky and pick some more up tomorrow.
