Wonder if Cabellas will be discounting their black powder firearms during their big Fall hunting sale? Was able to get some very good deals last year.

Dunno, but I'll have to "support" them if they do. I've got enough BP guns, but someone has to give those cute puppies a home.

I was at my local Cabela's in Fort Worth and they have an assortment of used percussion pistols and rifles for sale. The salesman in the Bargain Cave said they are used and come in with other items on pallets from the parent company. They have 3 Uberti Walker's for $209.00 and I noticed a Pietta 1862 Police for $146.00 which was nice. All the pistols looked to have had very little use and are in good condition. I just bought a Cimarron Whitneyville from an auction site, but I may use my Cabela points and get another Walker.

Fort Worth is lucky. I've seen very few revolvers in our Bargain Cave.

They had about 12 in their case Thursday. I was told they had more to put out as the stock was sold. I bought a LeMat they used for display from their Bargain Cave 3 years ago for about $370.00 after using a coupon I had received in the mail and Cabelas points I had accrued. I would like to get another LeMat if one becomes available.

New cabelas sale flier in the mail today.
They have brass framed .44 1851-ish "colt" types with 7.5 or 5.5 inch barrels for $179&change. Everything else looks about the same prices.
