Does anyone know anything about this rifle?.

#1 question is will a scope attached to the mount on the receiver cover hold its zero? It seems a little lose to me and I have looked at 2 of them.

Thanks in advance for your response.

I have not looked at one in person. I believe it would be a good rifle but I would spring for one with the proper furniture / accepting hi cap mags (legal for me) I would replace the top cover immediately if the rail will not come off.

I know it's more than a WASR, but I don't think it's worth it. I'm sure it's solid, but I'd rather the WASR... or better yet, save for an Arsenal.

It's a Zastava (yugo made) sporting rifle with the magwell shaved out to fit hi caps and made 922(r) compliant. It's better than a WASR.

They're great rifles and I'd absolutely buy one. But no, that rail won't hold zero. If you want a dustcover mounted rail on an AK that holds zero you need to buy one from Krebs, Texas Weapon Systems, or Parabellum Armament. Those are the only manufacturers I know of that have a dustcover rail system that's been tested to hold zero.
