With regards to AB352, the non-stamping guns won't be banned as far as possession goes. It will only make them unavailable for sale. You can still own your gun, but it'll be a collector's item in the state.
I've already written emails and pulp-letters, and I think Arnie will veto these. The .50 was just too high-profile, low-effect, and wedge-issue-y for him not to sign it. These bills, however, are extreme. The serialization bill requires massive property seizure and would even force the police to use these nonexistant bullets. Arnie can justify his veto on fiscal grounds.
As for the stamping bill, since it won't ban what I have now, I'll just have to buy more semi-autos before it goes into effect.
Why did I have to have the dream of being in entertainment? If I didn't have a reasonable chance of Hollywood success, I'd leave flaming Doc Marten prints.
