Caliber tutorial?

Hi there. Does anyone have any good links to websites with bullet caliber tutorials? Specifically, a list of bullets by size, recoil, powder, etc? Maybe with pictures?

I need to become more knowledgable

The simplest and best place to go is a good reloading manual. The Hodgdon manuals (just one example) give you a dimensioned drawing of the case, and list bullet size (diameter) and weights, along with charges (starting and maximum) for different powders at each bullet weight for that cartridge. They will also give muzzle velocity, from which you can calculate muzzle energy. For most cartridges, they also list breech pressure.
