Calico 9mm PCC Comeback?

Just had a random thought.

With the stupid standard capacity magazine ban expiring 4 years ago this month, sohowcome I have NOT seen any renewed making or marketing of the Calico 50 round helical magazine 9mm pistol caliber carbine????

We got domestically made knockoffs of the Steyr AUG, after all....

That company is based in california. The ban is still in effect there. I don't know if this is why, but it might be.

BTW, I'm pretty sure "calico" is actually a combination of more than one word. California is one of those words.

IIRC, they were discontinued because they were unpopular for reasons other than the ban.

They're also heavy, old technology now, and ugly. But they are an interesting bit of work, and I am a fan of the Buick grand National, so...
