California and there stupid gun laws

Wow, stupid California that's all I can say. Purchased a Bersa Firestorm .380 in Dec last year and just found out that I was turned down for the background check due to me buying another gun that I bought in the same month. Actually I didn't even know this law existed in Ca, but doesn't surprise me that you CANNOT buy two guns in the same month. And to make things worse, is that they just took the Bersa .380 model or Firestorm for that matter of the CA hand roster. Very disappointed.

If this is the case and I can't get this worked out, I am probably just going to buy another brand small CC pistol. Hell, I might just go back with a Kahr 9mm like I use to have.

I believe you can buy private party or consignment guns without restriction. Any handgun you buy directly from the dealer (not just a transaction he conducted) ............. one/per month. I just bought 3 new Smiths in a short period of time. The 30 days begins when you instigate the deal, not from when you pick it up after the 10 day wait. Someone more informed than me will put in their 2 cents perty quick.

California firearms laws can be confusing, and they are very restrictive. Anyone in California owning firearms or interested in owning firearms needs to become familiar with those laws or he might well be in for some nasty surprises.

The Calguns Forum and the Calguns Wiki are good sources for California specific information.

If anyone has any relevant and constructive information to contribute, please do. If anyone just wants to complain or vent, don't bother. A bunch of such posts have already been deleted.
