California guns

Colt Pythons. I bought one recently after looking and missing for 2 years. One gentlemen sold his right before I got there to buy it. You can buy them all day outside the state for under a grand. You can't buy one within the state for under a grand. Mine has 15k rounds through it and I paid $1000. No box, no papers, nothing but the Python. The one I missed had box, papers and less than 20 rounds...for $1600.
I go to gun shows every chance I get and they are scarce as hen's teeth.

Kel-tecs, CCW pistols that haven't passed the state tests, Detonics maybe.

Python's or anything with a Colt on it, that's not on the list.

As to the state: LA is run by Neofacist Liberals that run, and own Hollyweird.
I'll let you figure out who they are. They have a policy of anti-gun, since they live in pearl towers, with private security, while the rest of their area suffers with NO police protection, at all, Pacific Palisades.

While they have this policy, they also live in an area controlled by the Mexican mobs, for drugs, etc. who can smuggle any, and everything they want across the border. They have the BEST equipped, and armed, gangs this side of Florida.

During the LA riots, that elite barracaded their area, and, set up a perimeter against the folks coming out of the Rodney King area. This would have been the perfect time for the LA gangs to invade the super rich, rape and pillage, using superior weapons to over power, mainly AK 47's, etc. However, no such luck.
I say this, because as we all know, the difference between a neofacist, anti-gun liberal, and a conservative pro gun person, is the facist's first mugging, or robbery...;)

I think you would do good with:
-Anything in 10mm
-Frames for 1911's
-Frames for STI double stack 1911 clones
-Small backup type semi-autos

When you come back, pick the county you live in VERY carefully. Ours hasn't issued a CCW in 28 years. Others are 'shall issue' upon request.

That's a REALLY big deal for me.
