Fellow Californians....

I've got mine.... have you gotten yours yet? :D

2 RRA LAR15
1 LCW

:)

Note:
Please.... no Cali jokes. I know we got hoops to jump through, but when we got a opportunity, I know many of us take it.

But unless you already own a magazine for it you can't have one legally...

No jokes from me about living in CA. My heart goes out to every gun owner stuck in a state where the 2nd Amd. no longer applies at all (unlike the rest of the states where it still applies a little bit).

So magazines are registered there?

No no no... magazines dont need to be registered.

Even if we have a magazine, we have to attach the magazine "permanently" to the lower receiver, either pinned or welded on. If the lower is stripped bare (no LPK, pistol grip or buttstock) we can have the magazine too... just as long as the magazine is either pinned/welded on the receiver or completely off the lower receiver .

Hope that make sense :)

Well, Tuesday night I suddenly remembered that I hate roll pins and that my room is entirely too messy to be losing small springs in :uhoh: .

BTW, if you don't already have one, get a small brass mallet. ;) Hint:
Home Depot doesn't carry them. :cuss:

I'm 2 laps ahead of you!

What it would look like with one of my prebans (Photoshopped on of course, I never put a detachable magazine on this receiver. ;))

I'm half a lap behind Uber. Don't have the quad rail handguards or VFG yet, but I've got my Stag upper/lower combo assembled in M4gery configueration already. Now waiting on the RRA 24" Varmint to get in....:D

Thank God for the SA80 mags I had in storage all these years....

All you got was (3)? :(

Mace:)

LOL.... I sat at the FFL for another 45 minutes pondering whether I should buy more, but I think 3 lowers should "hopefully" suffice.

I wanted 1 more, but "4" in chinese is bad luck, and I didn't have enough for the 5th one

Well I see that there is a group buy on CalGuns, I tried to register so that I could pm the person offering the recievers but when I tried to complete the registration process it said: "the administrator has blocked your e-mail address".
What the F**k?!

Any other places to purchase these? if so, which model is the better choice
I have cash in hand and at $180 each would take two of them....

HELP!!! before these get banned also.

$180 each ain't gonna cut it unless you get in THAT buy. They usually run $200 a pop....

Given that the group buy was in the bay area; $200.00 would be okay given the cost of fuel (2 trips) and my time. I would gladly pay $200.00 each for a pair of them.
Any suggestions?

I might be interested in a lower if they're a quality piece. An RRA would be nice.

Ed

You'd pay $200 for a stripped Stag lower? If the window/loophole is still open, check out AIM Surplus, they've got Stag lowers for $89.95 if you buy two or more.

Nice buy, Black Majic.

Farnham,

Only problem is, VERY FEW, will ship to Kali. $200 is just the market rate here...pay that or NEVER have an AR.

I hear ya, Mace, I just left Cali a year ago, and if I was still there, I'd probably pay it too. I'd bet AIM would ship there if you directed them to the proper documentation, they're good (aka common sense) people to deal with. Did I mention I just ordered two of their Stag lowers? ;)

Oh yeah, that makes perfect sense in an Alice in Wonderland sort of way. Does the Mad Hatter pass laws there? How can you put up with that nonsense?
