Calvary Arms and Olympic Arms AR15's, good or bad?

I can't speak for other peoples experiences, and I'm not going to pretend to.
I have an oly arms rifle, Have had to ship it back to the factory 2 time so far. <BEGIN RANT>
First time was because the mounting hole in the carry handle was 3/4" out of spec's. I had to argue like hell to get that fixed. The second was for the front sight base that somehow magically got bent when they replaced the upper reciever. Funny, its a cast front sight base and it wasn't bent or of uneven thickness when it was sent in. BUT when it came back the left protective "ear" was bent out a full 1/4" further from the centerline of the front sight post than the right. AND it measures (the left side) a full 3/32" of an inch thicker than the right. ALSO you can see VISE JAW MARKS on the upper reciever where someone just didn't feel that it was necessary to use jaw blocks or something similar when assembling the barrel/upper reciever. Lets not even talk about the casting marks and grinding wheel gouges in various places. The handguards just plain suck, about one notch above a cardboard paper towel tube. Now, having said all that, the rifle does function like a dream. It shoots very well, has a sweet trigger pull, and has never misfed on me. I do 90 percent of my shooting with an ARMS mouunt and a Aimpoint Comp M/L sight so the front sight base is more of an annoyance than anything alse. But I would hate to try to use the iron sights for anything resembling a critical situation. Mine is a 16" heavy Barrel with a compensator/muzzle brake and is rather loud. But if your gonna shoot, they're going to know that your there anyway. I have used USGI magazines, Orlite Mags, a Beta Mag (wish it was mine)
and a couple of off brand mags and have never had any problems with malfunctions or fit in the mag well. All in all its a fair rifle for the price, and I guess that the customer service people that I talked to were just having bad days. OH, THATS RIGHT. I never did say what happened when I sent the rifle in the second time (about the front sight base) I was told that I must have dropped it or abused it in some way for the sight to be bent. And they refused to correct the problem. <END RANT\>
For that reason, probably more than anything else, I will NEVER buy anothe Oly Product again.
Bushmaster-Yes Colt or Armalite Yes, if I can afford them, but never another Oly.

Lots o' Luck
