Got back home on friday after being out of town for a few weeks. Love those darn matches.

Congratulations to our member Hipwr223 for making the PRESIDENTS 100 once again.

Good shooting John and it was good getting to talk to you a few times while back there.

Jon

And congrats to yourself also!
I wonder if anyone else from here made it?
It was a interesting day with the weather break and all.

mourning was typical dark with the sun rising in the east and some cloud cover blocking the sun that way. Later it burned off and was bright for 300 rapid. I put 1 1/4 left on at 300. looked at the mag change and was out the right with a 9 and a 10 on the line. moved left 1/2 and centered up but was a little low on the last 8 and bled a 9 out the bottom.

600 I had 4 minutes left on for the first shot and it came up a 10 about 2" below the X ring. was up to 5 1/2 left on at one point and my last shot was a solid 10 with 5 minutes left on. I was on 118 Viali so it was about a true full reading.

One relay which fired 3rd at 600 had a cease fire and range evacuation do to rain and lightning with 4 minutes left. thy continued after about a two hour delay.

fortunately i haven't had to endure a range evac, only eagles and jet skis.

where do they expect people to go?

I shot 2nd relay on Viale around the middle of the line (68). The day started good with an X, 10, 10, X, 10 for my first 5 shots standing. My last 5 were all 9s. I was a 1/4 heavy on my 300 wind and dropped 4 out the left by a bullet caliber (so close, yet so far). I put the first shot at 600 in the X ring and went to work. My last shot came about 20 seconds prior to the cease fire. While I was picking up, I made sure my scorer turned in my card because I knew it would make the cut. At 288-9x, I ended up 34th. That was the 3rd P100 tab in a row for me.

The rest of the week went well. I earned a gold in the NTI and our team had its best finish and highest score to date in the NTT.

Dan

Thank for the run-down guys. Sounds like fairly typical Perry conditions.

The longest cease fire that I ever got to endure was the year that they were looking for bodies, jet skiers I think. Was caught in the pits so we went over the hill and sat on the rocks for a couple of hours.
