So I'm planning on showing up and giving this woman a very tough challenge. Suggestions? Websites, etc. ? I am already familiar with www.guncite.com and am rather versed on the general argument, I just need stuff for the specifics on Canada. I need good, hard data here, don't wanna look like a fool.

The Firearms Law Center Links to International Organizations (Canadian links about halfway down the page)

In looking at crime stats, be sure that they are normalized by income and ethnic group. A common error is to compare Northern Europeans to Americans who are only about 40% Northern European. Violent crime follows social tradition much more than gun ownership. As an example, you might want to compare Montana and Manitoba, which are similar (I think) in terms of population density and ethnic background. One other point you may want to make: Canada has always followed English legal tradition. The 2nd Amendment was specifically intended to depart from that tradition.

Good luck,
