can a mag release on a beretta 92FS be reversed?

just had my smith do this with my sig 229, as I am a lefty. it was like a 2 minute job. is this doable on a beretta 92FS??

I don't know the procedure on the Beretta 92, but I do know that it can be done.

Anything is possible with enough time and money. Look at the inside of the left side frame. What's there?

Yes you can. A gunsmith can do it in about 20 seconds. I would try to explain it but it was to long ago and with my failing mind I cant remember the details.

As a lefty I have always found it easier and quicker to leave the mag release on the left side of any given pistol and to use my trigger finger to operate it.
